Toxicology Society of Bangladesh (TSB) organized the workshop in Chattogram, which highlighted key social science findings on alcohol consumption patterns, methanol poisoning, and the responses of healthcare professionals in Bangladesh. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including experts and professionals from the health sector, government officials, legal and regulatory authorities, social scientists, and media personnel. Their valuable insights and collaborative discussions focused on strategies to reduce toxic alcohol consumption and strengthen response systems.

 

This initiative marks a significant step toward improving healthcare facilities and enhancing preparedness in managing methanol and other toxic alcohol poisoning cases in Bangladesh—ultimately contributing to saving lives.
