Located at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, within the Department of Medicine in Rooms 519 and 520, the DMCH site (designated as Site 05) is part of the NIHR Methanol POC Trial. Operations kicked off here on June 15, 2025, starting with the onboarding of Clinical Research Assistants (CRAs) and Clinical Research Nurses (CRNs). Leading the effort as Site Principal Investigator is Prof. Dr. Md. Shafiqul Bari. Key regulatory clearances were obtained from the BMRC on January 28, 2025, from the DGDA on February 6, 2025, and from the DMC IRB on July 10, 2025. Enrollment of patients has not yet begun. On the team at DMCH are Clinical Research Assistants Dr. Srijan Roy and Dr. Fairose Jahin, Clinical Research Nurses Suborna Akhter and Mehrun Nesa Akhi, and Site Trial Coordinator Miah Mohammad Sakib.
