Dr. Robed Amin is currently General Secretary of Toxicology Society of Bangladesh and also the Member Secretary of Tropical Disease Research Cell in Dhaka Medical College (2008-onwards). He is the Secretary of International Affairs of Bangladesh Society of Medicine. He is the Assistant editor of the Journal of Medicine, Journal of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bangladesh Medicine Journal and Former assistant editor of Journal of Dhaka Medical college and member editorial board of several journals. He was the member Secretary of Core committee of Clinical Protocol Development for toxicology and also member of Undergraduate Curriculum revised committee of Bangladesh Medical Council . He has been member of BSM/APB/ACP/SACTRC/ISTM etc
He was also member secretary of Committee preparing National guideline of Kala Azar, Nipah and Rabies. He is an active member of preparing national guideline of Malaria, Snake Bite, Filariasis, Influenza including Avian and Swine influenza, Non Communicable Diseases. He is currently the Member Secretary of Committee of Antimicrobial Policy in Dhaka Medical College.
Dr.Robed Amin is in charge of Trainer of many national and international training program including Malaria, Kala azar, snake bite, Asthma, Nipah, Rabies, Filariasis, Dengue , Influenza etc. He is one of the national resource person for Evidence Based Medicine and practice in Bangladesh. He is actively participating in manyresearch activity including clinical trial on kala azar in Bangladesh.
Dr Amin is the committed person to look into the matters of implementation Government commitment to provide quality medicine to poor people of Bangladesh.
