"The Jashore Medical College & Hospital, Jashore (JMCH), located in Jashore Sadar, in Jashore District of Khulna Division of Bangladesh, is the 7th site of the CCBOC trial. This is one of the renowned District Level Medical College Hospitals in Bangladesh with a great potential in the research sector of this country. It’s one of the busiest Government Hospitals in Khulna Division. This site got the approval for subject enrollment on 8th July 2023 and recruited its first patient on 14th August 2023. Since the initiation of the study, a total of 63 patients have been screened, and among them, 62 patients have been enrolled in the study till 20th January, 2023. The Principal Investigator at the JMCH site is Associate Professor Dr. Goutam Kumar Acherjya, Head of the department of Medicine, JMCH. This site currently employs nine people, including the Site Trial Coordinator: Dr. Md. Shahid Shohan; Clinical Research Assistants: Dr. Mostafa Al Asad, Dr. Md. Saidur Rahman, Dr. Shahadat Hossain and Dr. Md. Sahajad Jahan; and Clinical Research Nurses: Jerin Farhana, Nishat Tasneem, Samiha Akter and Shaisab Goswami. Currently, the JMCH site has two dedicated trial beds for the study at Medicine Ward."
