Specialized in infectious and tropical diseases, and toxicology; initial training was through a WHO Fellowship, was a collaborator scientist with WHO/TDR, Mahidol-Oxford Research Unit, Bangkok, Co-Chair for development of WHO Snakebite control and prevention strategy, Member of the WHO malaria treatment guidelines. Actively involved in collaborative research.
